AS you all divas know I LOVE GIVING GOOD HAIR!!! And I LOVE ME A GOOD WEAVE!!! As a Weaveologist . YES I SAID WEAVEOLOGIST!LOL! I believe in taking care of you hair underneath your weave is just as important as taking care of the weave itself. Below im going to least a few dos and donts when it comes to taking care of your HAIR and the WEAVE!!
WEAVE and HAIR DOs and DONTS!
1. INSTALL ONLY Quality Hair PLEASE! NO BLENDS ALLOWED!!
2. Shampoo and Condition your hair at least every 2 weeks!
3.OIL your scalp as needed! NO DRY SCALPS!
4.Wrap and cover your hair NIght! this will help the cotton lint from building up in your braids!
5.Comb/ brush / detangle your hair before you shampoo your. This will keep your hair from matting during your wash.
6. Never let your hair extensions stay in longer than 6 weeks, 8 weeks at the most! After about 6 weeks the braids will start to dread and lock up.
7.Please dont relax and sew in your hair extentions in the same day! This will cause breakage! Please wait at least 2 weeks after your relaxer to install your weave!
8. Please dont use a metal rattail comb to scratch your schis will cause cuts and can lead to infections on the scalp! Please pat your weave gently! lol!
9.Leaving some of your edges out it advisable just to ensure you will have some left after you take your weave down. People who wear full weaves (meaning no hair left out) on a regular basis have a tendency to have thinner edges due to the pulling of the edges.
10. Please please Divas groom your tresses on a Daily Basis! I said DAILY DIVAS!!!!
